Relief of Sho-kannon Bodhisattva

This relief of Kannon bodhisattva (Goddess of Mercy) evokes a sense of peace. Made of Japanese cypress wood, it is by the same artist as the Buddha relief displayed inside a Kyoto City Subway train.
