Byakue-Kannon Bodhisattva made of sandalwood

Byakue-Kannon or bodhisattva in white robe (Pandaravasini in Sanskrit) is considered one of the 33 Avalokitesvara Bodhisattvas in Japan. The body of this statue is carefully carved from precious Indian sandalwood. The pedestal is made of Australian sandalwood.
